Arborist Reports in Townsville
Reports written by the arborist who did the inspection
Have a sick tree you want to save? Starting a development? Need an assessment on trees in a school or public space? We deliver professional reports and tree assessments.

Assessments and written reports
Daniel is a Diploma qualified climbing and consulting arborist and looks after the report writing, tree assessments and quoting. He has more than twenty years of experience across private, commercial and contracting work, sits on national industry safety committees and has been involved in writing industry standards.
That background is the difference between a report that gets accepted and one that gets sent back with questions.
What we report on
- Tree health and condition assessments
- Risk assessments for trees in schools, childcare centres, parks and public spaces
- Reports supporting development applications and building work
- Tree protection zones and construction impact assessments
- Species suitability advice for planting a block, a park or a streetscape
- Post storm condition reports for insurers and body corporates
- Second opinions where a tree has been recommended for removal
Sick tree, or a tree worth saving
A good proportion of the trees we are called out to look at do not need to come out. Decline has a cause, and often the cause is something that happened at the base years ago: fill over the root zone, a trench through the roots, compaction from parking, or a drainage change.
If a tree can be kept, we will tell you what it needs and what the realistic outcome is. If it cannot, you get that in writing too, with the reasoning set out so anyone reading it later can follow how the conclusion was reached.
Insured for the advice, not just the work
As well as public liability cover to $20 million, we hold professional indemnity insurance for our tree reports and assessments to $1 million. That is what allows councils, government departments and consultants to rely on what we put in writing.

Questions
Asked and answered
If yours is not here, ring us. We would rather talk it through than have you guessing at it.
What is in an arborist report?
It depends what it is for. Typically the tree data, an assessment of health and structure, the site context, the findings, and clear recommendations with reasoning. Reports for development applications also cover protection zones and construction impacts.
How long does a report take?
Usually within a week of the inspection, and faster if you have a deadline. Tell us the date you need it by when you book.
Can you give a second opinion on a removal?
Yes, and we are happy to. Plenty of trees recommended for removal do not need to come out. Equally, sometimes we confirm the first opinion. Either way you get the reasoning in writing.
Are you insured for the advice?
Yes. We hold professional indemnity insurance to $1 million on our reports and assessments, on top of $20 million public liability on the work.
